What is SeePaint?
SeePaint is a professional digital painting app for iOS and Android. It includes pressure-sensitive brushes, a full layer system, GPU-accelerated fill, ruler tools, text layers, smart selection, and timelapse export — designed for illustrators and digital artists.
Is SeePaint a Procreate alternative for Android?
Yes. Procreate does not support Android. SeePaint provides a Procreate-like professional workflow on Android tablets (Samsung Galaxy Tab, Xiaomi Pad, etc.) and phones, as well as on iPhone and iPad.
Does Procreate work on Android?
No. Procreate is only available on Apple devices. If you search for "Procreate for Android," you need a different app — SeePaint is a leading alternative.
What platforms does SeePaint support?
SeePaint runs on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Download links are on our homepage.
Does SeePaint support stylus pressure?
Yes. SeePaint supports pressure and tilt with Apple Pencil on iOS and active styluses (such as S Pen) on supported Android devices.
Is SeePaint free?
SeePaint is free to download. An optional Pro subscription unlocks advanced features. See the App Store or Google Play listing for current pricing in your region.
Was SeePaint previously called SketchFlow?
Yes. The app was originally released as SketchFlow on iOS and has been rebranded to SeePaint with Android support. Existing users may still see SketchFlow in older project files or URLs.
How do I download SeePaint?
Does SeePaint export to PSD, TIFF, or PDF?
Yes. SeePaint supports professional export formats including PSD (layered, for Photoshop / Clip Studio Paint / SAI), TIFF, PDF, PNG, and JPEG. You can also save native .seepaint project files that preserve all layers, guides, and edits for later re-opening in the app.
Does SeePaint have perspective, grid, or isometric guide tools?
Yes. SeePaint includes built-in drawing assistants not available in Procreate: perspective guides, isometric grid, 2D grid, graph paper, dot grid, and triangle guides. Adjustable opacity and spacing. Straight, circle, and triangle rulers are also included for precise geometric drawing — useful for architecture sketches, technical illustration, and concept art.
What Android tablets work best with SeePaint?
SeePaint runs on most Android 7.0+ phones and tablets. It works well on Samsung Galaxy Tab (S Pen pressure supported), Xiaomi Pad, Lenovo Tab, OnePlus Pad, and other Android tablets. For the best experience, use a device with an active stylus that supports pressure sensitivity. Download free from Google Play: com.laitu.sketchflow.
How does SeePaint compare to Infinite Painter?
Both are strong Procreate alternatives on Android. Infinite Painter is known for a polished brush feel and one-time purchase pricing. SeePaint differentiates with built-in perspective / isometric / grid guide tools, timelapse recording, cross-platform support (iOS + Android), and free download with optional Pro subscription. If you need guide tools for architecture or technical drawing, or want one app across iPhone and Android tablet, SeePaint is the better fit. See our full comparison: SeePaint vs Procreate.
Is SeePaint better than ibisPaint X for professional work?
ibisPaint X is popular for anime-style illustration and has a large social community. SeePaint targets a more studio-oriented workflow: up to 100 layers, 24 blend modes, PSD/TIFF export for desktop editing, perspective and isometric guides, and timelapse export. If your priority is sharing on ibisPaint's social platform, ibisPaint may suit you better. If you need PSD export, guide tools, and a cleaner pro interface for illustration or concept art, SeePaint is the stronger choice.
